Kick Off Meeting will be held by “inochi Gakusei Innovators’ Program 2022”

July 10th, 2022 [JST], “inochi Gakusei Innovators’ Program 2022 [i-GIP 2022] ” is going to begin all over the Japan. [Kansai, Kanto, Hokuriku, Shikoku and Kyushu district]. The problem we tackle in 2022 is “Heart Failure Pandemic”, and only in Shikoku district is trying to solve the “Lumbago” related problems. At this event, professors in each field are going to give lectures in each district. We will give participants a lot of content to think about the problem and to create innovative solutions for the next 5 months.

About “inochi Gakusei Innovators’ Program”
We, members of “inochi WAKAZO Project”, run this program [inochi Gakusei Innovators’ Program]. Participants, Japanese Junior high and high school students, make a team of group of two to four. University students will work together with them to create the whole new solutions to solve the problem.
Students work on a certain theme for 5 months every year and compete their own solutions.
inochi Gakusei Innovators’ Program has been held every year in Kansai district since 2015. It has been held also in Kanto district since 2019, Hokuriku district since 2020, Shikoku district since 2021, and also in Kyushu district since this year.
Note: Hokuriku had been known as i-GIP KANAZAWA until 2021. Shikoku had been known as i-GIP TOKUSHIMA until 2021. Both Kanazawa and Tokushima are city names of each region.
